Hiiiii guys. It’s been a minute. If you’re receiving this newsletter for this first time, you’re very welcome. I haven’t sent out any newsletter in about three months now. What have I been up to? I’ve been swamped with some freelance work, in a bid to avoid the cruel hands of Sapa. I’ve also been writing a lot of fiction, even though I have a difficulty completing my stories.
Asides all these engagements, I’ve spent the past few months refining my work, sharpening my grammar. Writing is sometimes tasking, especially the grammatical aspect of it. I’ve been taking lessons and I can say I’ve made some progress.
I have several stories, essays and ideas lying in my draft. I have been trying to curate more important stories as I continue to navigate the music and entertainment industry in my own way. I have been speaking to different people, gaining insights about how things work in the industry. I keep postponing the things I should do, one of which includes sending out newsletters as often as I can. But I keep falling short. I’ll continue to strive to do better, anyway.
I’m excited to tell you that I have developed a more intimate relationship with music. This is chiefly because my understanding of life is constantly deepening. Recently, I listen to music with a keen sense of appreciation, basking in the essence of the artists whose work move me. This has also affected my approach towards writing about music. I can’t wait to share some of my recent work with you.
We’re winding close to the end of the year. What’s your biggest fear? What keeps you up at night? What gets you going when you wake up in the morning? I’m growing more curious about human beings and naturally, I find myself thinking about people who enjoy reading my work. I would like to establish a better connection with those who are interested in having these conversations.
