There has been a subtle competition amongst Nigerian musicians since the advent of Apple Music and the Top 100 chart. Is the industry being affected negatively?
For a while I wondered when the next Newsletter Mail would pop up. Yaay it did today. You actually hit the nail on the head there’s really nothing I could add. But this made me realize that I hardly ever check the charts. I just want to listen to good music.
Well, I don’t know too much about the songs that were released last week because I stopped listening to Afrobeats towards the end of March and it’s been like a whirlwind of emotions listening to other genres of music. To be honest, everyone needs to jump on this train once in a while. If you’re interested I’d definitely put you on.
